Love love love!! The texture is silky smooth like a souffle and I love the effect on my hair as a pre-poo .... However I recommend that if you're using it as a deep conditioner, mix it with your regular deep conditioner/mask for better slip when combing through. Thank me later!

I've been using Olori Damage be Gone deep conditioner for several years now. During this time, I have gone from relaxed hair (pixie cut) to a natural afro, and now back to relaxed, color-treated, shoulder-length hair and the product has worked excellently for all my textures and lengths. These days, I use the product more as a pre-conditioner as this leaves my relaxed hair feeling supe lush and nourished without any excess weight/heaviness. My hair type is highly porous and generally tends to not do well with too much product, so this works perfectly for me. However, when my hair was natural, I used the product after shampooing and it would penetrate my curls wonderfully, leaving my hair feeling deeply moisturised and super soft. To use, I part my hair into sections then work the product through with a comb from root to tip. I then cover with a plastic cap for twenty minutes before rinsing out. If you have a hair dryer or heated cap, even better! I remember the first time I took the product with me to my salon in London. My hair stylist absolutely loved the results on my hair so she ordered an entire box to use for her other customers as well! Even my 12-year-old son uses Damage be Gone on his precious ‘fro – and you know you’re doing something right when you have the enthusiastic endorsement of a typically blasé pre-teen! It’s really an amazing product – delivers consistently great results on all hair types, plus it’s great value for money as one big tub tends to last me for about a year. What more can you ask for? Lol!
